Alidad is a London-based selector with almost 20 years behind the decks, known for sets that bring people together through rhythm, melody, and cultural texture.
His sound draws from a wide palette — with grooves rooted in African and Latin rhythms, hints of Middle Eastern influence, deep house foundations, and minimalist techno structures. It's music that's warm, percussive, and danceable, always evolving and never predictable. Vocals, melody, and movement sit at the core of every set.
Alidad has played at many of London's most respected venues — including Fabric, E1, The Steel Yard, The Box, The Cuckoo Club, Raffles Chelsea, and Blue Marlin — and held long-running residencies with events like Bacanal, Roxx, and RVLRY. His journey has also taken him further afield, with sets at Burning Man, across Ibiza, and other international stages.
Whether opening a night or closing one down, his focus is simple: play music that moves — emotionally, physically, and collectively.
